Support Mural Masters 2024 Fundraiser to Transform Burien's Urban Landscape
Burien, WA – The Mural Masters Invitational Fundraiser is back for 2024, continuing its mission to transform urban spaces through the power of graffiti and street art. Originating in 2014 as part of the B-Town Beat, a vibrant music and art walk in downtown Burien, Mural Masters has faced pandemic interruptions but remains steadfast in its commitment to beautifying the community. The founders, Sneke, Shelli Kay Park, and Lance McIntosh, have tirelessly championed top artists from the Seattle area and beyond while prioritizing local talent.
The festival's main venue, Art Alley, located on SW 152nd Alley between 4th Ave SW and Ambaum Blvd SW, is the heart of Mural Masters. This year, the collective, including Burien hero Craig Johnson and muralist Angelina 179 Villalobos, is excited to reintroduce the event, fostering community anticipation and excitement. The diverse panel members bring a wealth of experience in mural artistry, representing various styles and disciplines, with three members boasting participation in other mural festivals.
